  • This was my first intro to comic book shops in Las Vegas after I moved here from San Francisco. I was worried that there wouldn't be a shop around that catered to the alt and indy comics like we had in SF. Boy, was I wrong. This is an amazing shop and Ralph (the owner) is an encyclopedia of comic book knowledge. He's always friendly and greets every customer that walks in personally. The selection is huge and there's always plenty of genres for everyone. The have games, knick knacks, art, posters, back issues, classic comics, a local section, apparel, and a good sized kids section. It's located in a very easy to access strip mall on a busy intersection, so it's not hidden away where you'll miss it. I have been collecting comics for 30 years and Alternate Reality is one of my 4 favorite shops of all time. Do yourself a favor and check them out!!
