My go to for massage is usually at one of the big city spas. I thought I'd try Sutherland out because it's close and the prices are great. I guess the big difference I neglected to realize was Sutherland Chan has a clinical focus. With that said the massage was wonderful and the RMT listened to my concerns and worked directly on those targeted areas. What was a bit of a shock was the aesthetics of the room. The walls were very dark, the massage bed sheets and blanket looked very old and outdated. The RMT was dressed in jeans and a t shirt. There was also a big bottle of baby oil sitting there when I entered. It just didn't look and feel very comfortable and professional. Would I go back? Maybe but probably try a new therapist as I did see some walking around in more professional dress and carrying real lotions. For now I'll stick to my Spa's! I like feeling pampered.
