| - The most unprofessional moving company we have ever come in contact with. If I could rate them negative stars, I would! We didn't even make it past the phone calls for the estimate when we realized these people were going to be a nightmare. I will keep saying "them", "he" and "people" throughout this review, but in all honesty we only spoke with one man, David Johnson.
Round One: We had an appointment for an estimate and on that same day, just an hour before, he called to cancel. We understand life happens and a sick child is unpredictable, therefore we rescheduled. This wouldn't even be a negative comment if what followed this didn't happen.
Round Two: My boyfriend literally works across the street from our apartment and it takes 2 minutes (if that) to get home on foot. When he rescheduled he specifically requested that they call him right before they arrive so he could meet them at our apartment. He didn't want to leave work in case they were going to cancel again. 4:30 comes around, our appointment time, and no call. When my boyfriend got home a little after 5 he called them, and wow was someone having a bad day. David snapped at him because we weren't here at 4:30 and that he had waited 20 minutes for him. When asked why he didn't call when he arrived...Wow again! He said he's been doing this for 27 years and it wasn't his job to call beforehand, and that he had an appointment at 4:30 that we should have been here for. My boyfriend tried explaining to him that if he would have called like we were told he was going to, then my boyfriend would have been here in 2 minutes or less to meet him.
Round Three: HE HUNG UP!!! Don't even get me started on this...I couldn't believe it. He also did not answer when we tried calling him back.
***FYI*** Because you do not know us...I want you to know that we are laid back, nice people. Even if we were jerks, hanging up on a client/customer is unacceptable and disgusting.
Round Four: We called the customer service phone number and left a message for someone to call us back about what happened, and guess what? No one called us back!
Thank God we did not give this company ALL of our belongings. Could you imagine? I strongly suggest you not trusting your belongings with people like this either.
This is for the company: We will be moving half a dozen times in the years to come as my boyfriend's job requires it, so you didn't just lose out one job here, you lost out on many!
For the readers: if you have a company that you recommend for out of state moves, please let us know! We are looking for someone we can rely on and use repeatedly.
