I come here for the food, not the service. In terms of genuine Chinese food, this place creates some pretty satisfying dishes. I've been here twice and both times I've walked out with a full belly and leftovers for the next day. My only criticism in terms of the food is that it's a bit overpriced. I ordered the $16.95 braised pork with pickled veggies and $12.95 fish fillet with soup. Unfortunately the soup did not come with rice so that was an additional $3 for another bowl of rice. So expensive!
The dishes themselves were full of flavor. The soup is translated from Chinese loosely as bitter vegetable and fish soup, so it lived up to its name. The pork was very fatty and salty, pairing well with the rice. It melted in my mouth.
In terms of service, Little Asia is very lacking. My friend and I were placed in the side alley at a level lower than the main serving area, near the takeout window. The servers couldn't even see that area! Only one waiter serviced the strange side space and even he didn't come much. We had to call someone over to take our order and stand up and walk over to the main area to hand them our check. One woman even mistakenly gave us a takeout order when we were waiting for our dishes. It was quite surprising being handed to go when we expected a sit down meal. I felt even worse for the large groups that had to sit further down this weird alley and up some stairs to some spare space behind the rest of the office complex and adjacent restaurant's, Eat Unique's, kitchen. They were completely out of sight and almost forgotten.
I have also seen some Yelp reviews criticizing the sushi here and I just wanted to say that it's a Chinese restaurant, so don't order the sushi! I would come back for their lunch specials, I think that's when the menu items are most worth their value. Don't come expecting hospitality! Come to eat.
