| - If I could give zero stars I would. I don't write reviews very often - but this horrible experience warrants one.
Simply not worth the amount of time you will waste. I bought a Living Social coupon. There is no telephone support at all. I scheduled an appointment online - and you have to create an account to do that - ridiculous. I got a reschedule phone call after the online confirmation from somebody who was marginally understandable and extremely unfriendly. Matt was a complete no show for the rescheduled appointment - and he did not even call to say he wasn't coming. Multiple calls to the office were ignored. This was the day before Thanksgiving and we stayed home during the entire four hour window and beyond. Matt has absolutely no respect for anybody's time but his own.
I then tried to reschedule - which you can only do online since they never answer the phone. No appointments were available once I logged in to reschedule under my account . I was being filtered out of being able to schedule. So I created an account under my husband's name and was able to schedule an appointment. There was no confirmation until the morning of. Then Matt did not show up until after the 4 hour window - again - no respect for anybody's time but his own.
He immediately told me that our house was bigger than 1000 square feet. That is true. But it is not much bigger. We told him to ignore the entry, the guest bedroom, guest bathroom, all of the closets, and that he did not have to move furniture. That left much less than 1000 square feet. I know - I just completely remodeled this 1450 square foot place. Excluding the entry (60 square feet), the guest bedroom, walk-in closet, and oversized bathroom (250 square feet), closets including the coat closet, walk-in pantry, office closet, and two large master walk-ins (240 square feet) alone reduced the cleaning area to under 1000 square feet. And that doesn't account for where the furniture sits in all of the rooms that were not cleaned under.
Even though the coupon is for tile and GROUT cleaning - he wanted extra to clean the grout that mostly looked great. And he wanted a lot extra. Then he could not demonstrate that he could even clean it because - as he said - "it takes 6 hours to dry and see results."
He stayed for under an hour. There were huge puddles of water all over our house when he left- I thought it was supposed to be "steam" cleaned. The really disappointing part is that the grout looks no better - and maybe worse - than when we clean it with our own personal steam cleaner. For $150 to "scrub and remove stains" for a few square feet - I expected more. (I only wanted the trouble areas to be scrubbed because the rest of the grout looked great.)
I will be sending Living Social a message as well. This is just a come-on deal. He really doesn't want to clean your tile and grout for $29 - as he made abundantly clear. I must say that had he shown up when expected and done a good job - we would have used their service periodically for our tile.
Heed mine and other's negative reviews. This is not only not worth the money - it was a complete waste of my valuable time.
