We spent 3 nights in this hotel. It started off bad. The front desk person "Scott" ran my debit card twice so it froze $780 in my checking account for 4 days. He blamed booking.com. I said so is the 2 pending charges on my "other" account for incidentals booking.com's fault to? He didn't know what to say. This is a busy, expensive hotel in the middle of spring training. This guy had no business working the front desk during this shift.
I paid the $9.95 one morning for breakfast. The hot food was not good. The fruit and coffee were good.
The 2 for $4 sausage McMuffins with egg at McDonald's was way better.
The room was nice. The beds were comfortable. Housekeeping could have done a better job cleaning the bathroom.
There was always room service trays sitting in the hallway.
Watch out in the backside of the building. There is a tree that has a branch hanging over the walkway and I walked right into it scraping my forehead. This was in the first day!! It wasn't bad enough to tell anyone but it sure hurt.
The pool was pretty nice. Heated to 80 degrees. Love the pool towels.
Overall the hotel was nice. Of course it was way over priced because of spring training. They all have figured out they can get what they are charging because us fools will pay it.
