I've visited this store twice in two years and on each occasion I was met by a young arrogant snob who couldn't have cared less whether I purchased anything or not. I really wanted to buy a Surface but the employees' attitude was so poor that I lost interest. I mean, I'm not going to pay someone to be rude to me so I opted to buy another Apple product.
It's really too bad because there are many things I like about Windows products but apparently this is a Microsoft business philosophy. I wanted to buy directly from a Microsoft store because my understanding is that products sold here are not bundled with a bunch of useless and annoying adware that you find from the big box stores who sell their products. By the way, I'm writing this review from the very excellent Office365 for the Mac (purchased from their official website) and I absolutely love it.
In my opinion, Microsoft has never been good in terms of hardware with the exception of maybe the Xbox and there's really no good explanation for it, especially when you consider how financially solvent this company is. They have the ability, financial resources, and the Surface line has tremendous potential to compete with Apple MacBook(s) but they appear quite satisfied for underachieving in the quality of their products and especially the attitude of their employees.
Sincerely, ~D.O.
