  • Tourist Trap. Great place to shop if you're a sucker. This place was fair priced for the most part, but coming from a collector, this is a location that just takes advantage of its location and the unwitting tourists who wander in. As far as vintage collectibles went, the selection was a let-down. What they had for vintage was really the dust collectors of the past. That's not why I went with one star though because the only thing they're guilty of there is being a business that sells its inventory. Their product treatment raised some eyebrows. I wish I had taken pictures, but they had vintage G.I.Joes in package, and they put the prices ON THE CARBOARD and not the plastic bubble. G.I. Joes they priced at $250! In their defence the stickers they put were on the old stickers that were already on there, but any collector, especially one about to cough up that kinda dough, would tell you they prefer the original $3 price tag from K-mart over the brand new high sticker price on it. Yes I sound like a huge nerd right now, but this was just an amateur hour mistake for any serious collector. That's still not why the one star rating though... I noticed that there were a lot of fair prices, but I also noticed prices that were just taking advantage of people. The worse one I noticed was a Usagi Yojimbo Ninja Turtle figure for 9.99 with the ears cut off and no accessories! This is a figure that you could find WITH ears and no accessories in a flea market bin for a buck. With the ears cut off, it's hardly worth a quarter. I could not believe they had the nerve to ask this price for a toy with such PERMANENT damage and I cringed thinking about the poor unwitting parent who ends up being duped into buying this figure for their child, neither of them knowing how badly they're being ripped off. They also had other figures with no accessories that they were asking ridiculous prices for. You could tell they were going off of what insane people on ebay THINK the toys are worth, and not what they're actually selling for. I saw some things I was interested in, but decided not to purchase them as I refuse to support such poor business practice.
