  • I found LOLA from Yelp, and saw amazing reviews. They're spot on. Jay cut my hair today, after I booked (easy as pie) through their online booking engine. I have been going to the same stylist for several years and loved her, but she left the country. So I wanted continuation of my look, and maybe an improvement, if it was possible. Jay took the time to listen to what I wanted, looked carefully at my hair, and checked in with me during the cut at several key points so that I would be happy with the result. I have lots very fine, wavy hair and want to accentuate the wave. Jay did that, including giving me simple styling tips. He's also a really nice man. In terms of product, though he didn't push anything on me, I loved the smell and result of the curling product he used on me, so I bought that as well. I recommend Jay and LOLA to anyone who needs a stylist. BTW, I live in Leslieville and driving to the near-west end is totally worth it.
