  • I really like tea. I drink it black. I did bought tea leaves from Ten Ren before. There would be major arguments among tea purists if Ten Ren's tea leaves is better than others, so this review is not about its tea leaves. It is about its bubble teas, or milk tea, etc.. Bubble/Milk tea that is more milk and ice cream and that tastes more like a sundae than tea is not a tea in my world. It is a beverage. Biased as I am, I like the milk/bubble/jelly tea at Ten Ren a lot more than other places, exactly because I. Can. Taste. The. Tea! I think of it as having more layering in taste. So I am championing for them: order from Ten Ren instead of the numerous other chained stores and indies and taste the difference yourself.
