Here's the deal. Westgate excels at one thing. It's a GREAT place to stay if you're attending a convention at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Also, there's plenty of parking and the rooms are pretty competitively priced. The valet parking and front desk staff are all excellent. Unlike previous visits to the property under different names, security has done a good job of removing some of the troublemakers on the property. And unlike some reviewers, I never got hassled by any of the timeshare salespeople.
Things where Westgate can use some work: housekeeping is hit or miss, especially if you sleep in (imagine that happening in Vegas). The buffet isn't much to write home about, especially for the price. The towels are small and the drain in my tub was partially clogged and never got repaired, even with a call to the front desk. And unlike virtually anyplace else in Vegas, there's not a 24 hour dining option on site.
It's an "OK" hotel that's great to avoid the hassle of getting to and from the Las Vegas Convention Center.
