I had lunch at Allan's at the Peanut Plaza almost every day and never got sick of it. The BEST "patties" Back in the 80s, when I was in junior high and high school, we ate patties on coco buns for lunch at Allan's at the Peanut Plaza almost every day and never got sick of it. Throughout the years, I've tried many different patties (Randy's, Michidean's, Patty King, etc.) but Allan's still reigns supreme! I think what sets them apart from the other patties is the soft, flaky crust and the abundance of meat in the patties. The filling is spiced just right and perfect when it drips on to the soft coco bun. All my friends and I live out in the East end now but every one of us still takes a road trip up to Allan's when we're craving patties.
