This has been by far the worst experiences of my life. No joke. I have had a family plan with AT&T for more than five years. Recently because of bad reception and dropped calls I decided to switch. When I went in my main concern was whether I could use their promotion to cover the cost of transferring. The associate by the name of James assisted me and informed me that each line I brought over would get a credit of up to $650 in a form of a visa gift card to pay off the remainder balance at AT&T. He was very clear that whatever I owed at my last carrier would be paid off. So we moved four lines over thinking that this was a smooth transition. Guess what? That's not the case at all. He lied about it all. Two of the lines won't even get a gift card. The other two are only getting about $170. And guess how much I owe for AT&T? $859.00. I called Verizon and they apologized for the miscommunication. I went to the store three times. Twice James was hiding. Both times his managers informed me that's he's new and they were thinking about firing him. One manager said she would call me back with a resolution and it's been over a week with no calls. I am so angry about this whole thing and no one cares. No one will probably respond to this either but you're better off avoiding this place all together.
Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. I feel like an idiot every time I'm there because James runs off and hides and all his managers try to cover up his mistakes by saying his new. Thank you for lying to me Verizon.
