  • Gosh if there was ever a 0 star rating on YELP it would definitely be for this place. I've been a regular here with my roommate for a few weeks now and last night we walked in to an empty restaurant with no patrons. I've been suffering from a cold the past few days and thought a nice bowl of hot soup would do me some good. I sat in my usual booth but the ceiling fans were turned on full blast so I asked if we could move to another booth which is reasonable especially if you have allergies and a cold. Here's what really shocked me besides the soggy noodles and rancid tasting wontons: The male cook in the back. He was loud and boisterous and spoke Vietnamese clearly within range of an earshot and talks very badly about customers that dine here. After the lady took my order, he proceeded to talk about me and my roommate bashing us and saying we are bad customers. He also said a bunch of nasty things that were very shocking. He called us lousy customers cause one time my roommate asked for extra napkins and also extra veggies with our chicken pho which we happily paid for. I can't believe how rude this chef was. The thing is, I speak fluent Vietnamese and understood everything he was saying. He probably thought I did not understand or speak his language but regardless here's the deal: If you work in the restaurant industry and bash your regular customers by talking smack about them while they are dining in your restaurant, you have no business working in this field. I was very shocked, we could barely finish our meal and needless to say we will never support this restaurant again. There are much better places in the area especially the Pho place down the street by LVAC that will treat you will kindness and respect. From the lack of customers this place definitely is on it's way downhill. They definitely lost a loyal customer for life. If you ask for anything extra or order extra sides, just know this CHEF will talk badly behind you back or perhaps even spit in your food. ( Seriously he is THAT kind of person ) I noticed reviews here that have stated the service is beyond rude and and it's totally true, it's lousy and disrespectful especially when customers are paying out of their pockets to help keep you in business. Not sure where these people learned hospitality but it really shows that they are lacking in that department severely. BEWARE when you eat here. Horrible experience all all around.
