Mastro's you ought to be ashamed.
First let me say this is a terrific nightclub as far as crowd and drinks. The talented bar staff makes wonderful cocktails from martinis, manhattans, old fashioned, etc.
And there isn't a better place in the valley to mingle with the wonderfully attractive local ladies.
But the live entertainment is/was an embarrassment on my visit last week. The three person combo involved a girl on the piano, and female singer and fella on rhythm guitar. Mastro's why do you hire impersonators as musicians? The gal on the piano could actually sing. But more than half the time the persons were simply imitating a soundtrack being played: she wasn't even pushing down the piano keys, the guitar fella was embarrassing how he pretended to play and the other gal couldn't sing, or was told not to. Really awful. Years ago the club has some terrific musicians and played LIVE music.
I'll be back for sure, it pains me to give them a 2 star review because this really is one of the best bars/nightclubs in the country.
But c'mon!!! Try a little harder Mastro's.
