I am embarrassed to even admit I went to a McDonalds but I was running late for an appointment and was starved. The drive through was packed so I went inside. All I wanted was a Quarter w/cheese and a small fries. The non-human automated ordering process was horrible and I eventually went to the counter which I did not know was an option.
I get my order and leave. Figured I would eat it after I touched base with my client. Opened the box the burger was in 20 minutes later and the cheese had never melted. You know how usually if you put a slice of cheese on a burger and let it sit for a bit, it will melt, maybe even down the sides. This slice of cheese was completely intact. It had not melted.
This tells me they slapped the cheese on a cold burger patty that was probably just sitting, pre-cooked in a pan.
The fries were half salt. Horrible.
People just don't take pride in their work any more and the management of this location is asleep at the wheel, but what do they care as they know they will be replaced by robots one day soon.
The only positive experience is this will keep me out of McDonalds for another year.
