  • There is a Kofusion on campus here at U of I, and the atmosphere is fast-food like. You order at the counter, receive a number, and someone brings your food out to you. My roommate works there so I am a regular, but a week ago the hockey team rented out a reception room at the downtown Kofusion location on Main Street off campus. My experience was a solid 10/10. I was impressed by everything from the venue, to the service, to the food especially. The waitresses were so personable and kind, and tolerated my excessive questions about the "best" and "most adventurous" sushi rolls to try. I went with their recommendations and I was so pleased. The sushi rolls I ordered tasted so fresh, and were carefully plated beautifully. One of my rolls even came out in flames. My whole experience was one to remember (and fairly priced!); I will definitely be back soon.
