  • My wife and I tried Waterbean Coffee today and were thrilled to find such an amazing coffee shop in our area outside of Charlotte. The atmosphere was chic-modern and very relaxing. The coffee itself was fantastic, and you can tell they know what they're doing and really put care into making great coffee. My wife got the pour-over coffee, and I got a cappuccino. Both were expertly made. The pour-over coffee in particular was perfect and I could have drank it black, but it was prepared to my wife's liking. We were there a while and later ordered a ham sandwich and an iced coffee. The ham sandwich was surprisingly delicious with their own "waterbean sauce" and much better than anything you can get at Starbucks and for only $4.50. The iced coffee was also very good, and the barista even waited while I put the cream and sugar in the coffee so he could top it off with more coffee. I have been to many cafes both in the States and overseas, and this one is definitely towards the top of my list of favorites.
