I've been coming to beauty one for almost a year inconsistently and before they moved from their Victoria park location. What brings me back is their cheap price for mink lash extensions. I've been going there on and off because of the quality I get in terms of their lash application techniques and their technicians. If you're on a budget, then I would recommend this place. HOWEVER, beware. I've had two negative experiences to date. I'm not the one to make a fuss but I want everyone to beware. I have Asian lashes so lash extensions only last me 1-2 weeks before I need a fill anyway. That for me is not the problem. The problem I have with this place - is once the tape they used for my bottom lashes was stuck on my under eye area and when Wendy was trying to rip it off, it made me tear. This loosened the glue I'm sure and not to mention it was extremely painful. I am tolerant of pain I'm sure you know the eye area is super sensitive. I also had another experience where they used a gel adhesive for my bottom lashes, but the technician (Tracy) didn't place it properly as it isn't as sticky as tape, and when she was done with the lash application and had me open my eyes, my bottom lashes were attached and glued with my top lashes. And guess what? She cut my bottom lashes. Yup. she cut them. So now on my right eye on the bottom outer corner I have literally no lashes. Will I go back to this place? 50/50. And it's because I don't think it's worth paying $100+ for lash extensions that will require maintenance within a week or two. So I'm ok with paying for $44. Honestly it sucks that some of their technicians are so careless and pretend like it's ok. I know Tracy knew she cut my lashes. I'm not the one to make a fuss. But I know many ladies see this place on groupon and wonder if it's safe/worth it. So here is my honest review. Good luck.
