I was visiting Las Vegas for a weekend just recently and I had booked an appointment with Robert for a DevaCut and styling for curly hair. I was incredibly excited to finally have the cut done and to have the opportunity to speak with someone else who I felt understood curly hair. Robert was nice, but kind of impersonal and he had tried to book his next appointment too close to my appointment time so his next client showed up half way through my cut. When that happened, he pawned me off on his assistant who told me she was still in school for cosmetology and she very clearly had no clue how to handle curly hair. I ended up having to tell her to stop touching me and to just let me do it because I had plans right after that and I was not about to go out looking like a troll. I'm sure Robert could tell I was very unhappy and he kept making bogus excuses as for why my hair looked so awful rather than just apologizing and finishing it. After all that, I ended up spending close to $130 for a haircut I could have done myself and some products that I probably could have gotten cheaper online.
