I'm not really a donut person but I appreciate that this place isn't Krispy Kreme. It reminds me of a spot back in Anchorage I went to growing up. It's in a strip mall next to a PTs and nothing about it makes you want to stop in really. My boyfriend has been picking donuts up the past few weeks and I finally went myself today. It's a small shop and there were a few older men chatting about current events over donuts which I found pleasant. I'm not sure if the woman who helped me was the owner but she was very nice. They were out of apple fritters at 11am so I went with a sprinkled cake donut, glazed twist and buttermilk cuz the buttermilk sort of looked like an apple fritter. Buttermilk was awesome. Not even sure what it means but get it. I also love the cake donuts. The icing and sprinkles on mine were quite generous. All of those donuts were a little over $2. I know this means I'm going to have a lot more donuts in my life but I'm okay with it.
