Came here to see the last installment of the "50 Shades of Grey" series at the Dolby Theater inside AMC. I was so excited that this theater stepped up their game and a luxury option to compete with Galaxy "Luxury" in Henderson.
I was quickly reminded why I stopped coming to this theater. The "Dolby" luxury theater itself is great, huge screen with incredible sound, and you can turn the theater seats into a loveseat! So cool! I have no idea how long ago this upgrade was made here but it appears pretty new. It's a pretty bad first impression when the hallway into this new beautiful theater has trash lining it. Literally. The theater inside was filthy. There was Popcorn and trash on the seats and all over the floor, it denned as if there was no clean up between any showtimes, and there were no employees in sight once you made it past the initial usher checking tickets at the door.
Before the show started I went to the restroom and there was a homeless woman sitting and falling asleep in the hallway! Keep in mind that it was almost 10:00pm on a Sunday and we were the only 2 people in the theater hallway. Not the safest scenario.
I think the Management in this theater is appalling. It simply says that they don't care about their customers or their business. In a time when ALL brick & mortar business can't take one customer for granted, AMC gives the loud & clear message that they simply don't care. All the reviews are quite accurate, sad but true.
Galaxy "Luxury" May be an older theater but I will continue to see all my movies there!
