  • Go elsewhere. I haven't lived here in over a year but was reminded of my horrible experience here when a friend asked me if they should rent from Hayden Park. Not unlike other complexes in the area, they are ridden with crime including two murders that happened several units down from us while we lived there. And instead of making the effort to make the tenants feel safe, we received a passive aggressive note after the incident taped to our door saying they were not responsible for our personal safety. This is before I caught someone attempting to break into our patio back door (they ran off after they heard my dog bark and it was too dark to get an accurate description) and after our bike was stolen. They also took whatever measure possible to charge us for damages and whatever other loophole they could find when we moved out. Half of our maintenance complaints were never addressed. Walls are paper thin and our unit had 0 upgrades besides new carpet. Extremely overpriced and not worth the headache from unempathetic incompetent management.
