I went in really wanting to like this place. We waited about 20-25 minutes huddled by the door waiting for a table. They have a really big communal table in the center of the place that I believe was available, but never offered, so we ended up waiting for a booth.
One of the first things I noticed was that they have their "B" health department rating covered up by a potted plant.
Service was pretty good and I enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The ramen broth was well balanced, but I agree with a previous review that the noodles are just too damn starchy. A few pieces of very fatty chashu and a whole bowl of starch. I don't think I ate even have of my Cha Cha Cha and my companion didn't finish hers either. The happy hour salmon and chashu tacos were tiny but pretty tasty. They do have a good beer selection!
I'd like to give them at least a 3 star, but if a ramen place has bad ramen, you get a 2. I wouldn't repeat.
