| - Degrees has an excellent selection of high quality kitchen tools, and is the place to visit when you can't find that specific something. I find Degrees invaluable when you want to hold/test something before purchase. Need a chinois, potato ricer, fish spatula, or food mill? Degrees will likely have a few selections of each, most of which are top-quality brands that you won't find in most other GTA stores.
The downside is the pricing, which I would characterize as full retail. You can easily find the same products for much less online, but that's the rub -- if you want the convenience of testing in-store, you're going to pay top dollar. That should be somewhat expected for a boutique shop in this neighbourhood, though.
Still, it's a nice little neighbourhood shop -- definitely worth checking out if you're in the area, or if you need a last minute gift.
