I would have given this place ZERO stars if I could have. The star that I was forced to give can be for the staff (not the Dr/PA) They were all pleasant and friendly. The place was absolutely dead but after the service we received I am not surprised. My girlfriend was seen by Sierra Tialino PA. She was seen for a wrist injury/pain. She was diagnosed with what I thought she had carpal tunnel syndrome. The PA gave her a RX for Voltaren to help with inflammation and a wrist splint (she could get OTC). I asked if she could prescribe a couple nights of Tramadol for pain bcuz my gf is having a hard time sleeping bcuz of pain at this point the PA becomes very catty and short insinuating my gf is a drug seeker. I have a ton of Percocet in my pocket myself bcuz I have an injury however my gf can't take it it's too strong. I told the PA to check the DEA website and she could see for herself my gf has no narcotic scripts filled in years. After so tense words back and forth She left the room abruptly and then came back with an RX. She walks in rudely hands the RX to my gf and leaves without a word. Looking at the script the PA had written for Codeine Sulfate 30mg #5 (I think she thought we would think they were for something like oxy 30's lol). Essentially the script was for T3's without the Tylenol. Checking with pharmacy these are stronger then Tramodol but most pharmacies don't carry them and they have to be ordered.
I guess this little snotty PA who looked like she was 12 (and with the tantrum she threw she didn't act much older) thought she was funny and cute. Essentially she was rude to a honest hard working patient that came to her for help. I am sure this must be her first job because she has a lot to learn. I am an RN and from what I saw today this PA has a long road of unfulfilling second or third rate jobs bcuz not only will her snotty personality follow her but so will her reputation. I am sure it can't be great for this new PA who has A LOT to learn. The healthcare industry here in the Phx Metro area is not that big and everyone knows everyone. I am sure I know not only some of her instructors but her colleagues as well. Reputation and professional relationships means more then she understands. I hope her supervising physician Dr Tammie Suzanne Naranjo M.D. Steps up and gives this PA a course on professionalism before she ruins both of their reputation.
