  • We upgraded to the Stay Well rooms and I highly recommend the extra cost. It will give you spa access every day to use the fitness, steam, sauna and jacuzzi. My favorite thing about staying at the MGM is the pool. They have a lazy river and it's fun to float about and read a book and people watch. I am not a big fan of the decor of the rooms at the MGM. The stay well rooms have air purifiers, scent cubes, black out curtains and Vitamin C infused showers and upgraded beds. The beds are super comfortable. I don't like black out curtains because I like to see sunlight to help wake up in the morning. The green glow from the MGM lights at night in my room made it hard to sleep. My eyes were blood shot every day and night and I think it's due to all the cigarette smoke in the casino. I was going to bed early, getting lots of rest, exercise and used the cucumbers on my eyes every day in the spa and still had red eyes. The casino is pretty smokey and not a place I want to hang out. MGM is my least favorite place to stay over the other hotels I've stayed at. I prefer the newer tower at Caesars Palace, the Bellagio and the Palazzo and Venetian because the rooms are huge and beautiful. I don't like cigarette smoke and prefer the newer casinos with better air filtration systems. I feel like the MGM is still pretty dated in comparison to the other casinos I've stayed at.
