  • I have to say that since my first review, things have gone down some since Brian left but lately maybe it's getting better? Taylor replaced a battery for me last summer, on a very hot weekend day. An older gentleman was working and told me the alternator needed to be replaced. He also, somehow, ripped the battery cover rendering it useless. While I appreciated the fast battery service (and he took the time to look up the pro-rated cost) this was annoying. I took the car to another place a neighbor recommended who discovered the problem was heat damage to electrical box. Not unusual since that summer was hotter than most. So that was repaired with new wires, etc. I've since asked a couple of other mechanics to look at the alternator and they have all said it's fine. Since then, though, I've had oil changes at Taylor without any issue. Interestingly, though, my glovebox has been broken as well as someone else has mentioned, but I don't recall it being connected to Taylor. The thing is, they are so close to where I live it's more of a convenience than anything else. Right now I'm weighing whether to have them perform a coolant flush or do it with a friend. I don't enjoy doing these things myself!
