  • Spring returns, and so do I. The year's first warm Friday night saw us back on the patio at Press. It was a little cool in the shade of The Ave, but a few weeks from now that will be a blessing. Their menu hasn't changed much since last year, and I'm happy with that. Our hummus had a couple unmentioned substitutions (chic peas instead of white beans), but they worked fine. I am looking forward to working my way through their retail-priced bottles of wine. Their patio makes for a great (quieter) alternative to the rowdy epicentre happy hour scene. Looking forward to another long summer.
