| - Okay, first things first - I'm not a big buffet person. I know, I know, that's practically sacrilegious here in Vegas but I just typically feel that buffets are more about quantity versus quality and I want GOOD food not just lots of stuff.
Then I discovered Bacchanal. The options are practically endless but everything is actually delicious, too, and that rocks my socks.
From the lamb to the carved-to-order BBQ to the crab legs (available cold and warm, dontcha know) and cocktail shrimp, everything is on point. There's sushi, tons of prepped salads, pasta, charcuterie, and a large Asian foods section that includes DIY pho and lots of steamed buns - the taro are SO GOOD.
Is it pricey? Yeah, but you're getting surf and turf with all the trimmings plus dessert for less than a solo steak anywhere nearby. I like it. Just please leave me some taro buns.
Btw - yes, there can be a wait, but if you have a Diamond card or above you can skip the line and it moves pretty fast anyway. Or just get a ticket from the kiosk and go have a pre-dinner cocktail somewhere else. It'll all be okay once you have some crab in your mouth, promise!
