This is probably one of my most fave spots in the city. I've been going here for over a decade (oh god I'm old) and still bring people here all the time. The coffee is amazing and they have a huge drink menu, all of which can be made with soy milk. They're also super accommodating - once I asked for a fair trade, vegan iced frap type of drink and they brewed fresh coffee to make it for me since they didn't have any FT on hand!
For their general coffee, they have fair trade - at the same price as regular. They also have vegan snacks (though not gluten-free vegan, *sniff sniff*). There are tons of teas that you can have brewed (I recommend the belgium chocolate rooibos if you like things that are amazing and delicious) and they can also be bought so you can relive the magic at home.
Moonbean is also open till pretty late for a cafe - I think like 10. The patio in the back is amazing and between it, the front patio and inside, there is tons of seating. But it does get super busy - particularly during cold weather when the back patio is closed and the front patio seems less appealing (by virtue of being outdoors).
I tried to stray this summer and try a different place for coffee, but about a month in I came right back! Mmmm Moonbean...I might just go there right now!
