  • Hate to write this, but this place needs some serious maintenance in the guest rooms. In one room I stayed in it appears as if the toilet had been leaking and destroying the drywall for quite some time. The finish on the bathtubs in some rooms has chipped off and streaked with rust. They have made some cosmetic updates: paint, furniture, etc. So the hotel looks very nice in photos but once in the room you can see the lack of quality of the work . Things don't quite match up and you can tell they just painted over the "problems" hoping you wouldn't notice. Air conditioners are old and musty and very noisy. The whole hotel is very noisy. They host a ton of weddings and I can hear guests all night in the hallway/adjoining rooms as clear as day. I travel for work here on the weekends sometimes and it is incredibly annoying. Through the exhaust in the bathrooms I can distinctly smells cigarettes. I don't know if it is coming from outside or if they still allow smoking in hotels? Either way, I don't want to smell it! In the back parking lot they want you to insert your credit card when you arrive and then again to get out but you won't be charged? It is very confusing and rarely works. They should just give you a hotel card or something for access in/out of the parking lot. Staff are very nice and room is clean, just wish they would do better maintenance/renovations to address the issues of an old hotel.
