| - Ooooh, so many pumpkins, so little arms. Every year we hit a least two or three pumpkins patches/farms and this one is increasing one of my faves. There is a ton of things to do for the little kiddies, they don't gouge you on the price of things (mostly) and the pumpkins are really awesome.
You can buy just the hayride or get an all-inclusive band for about $12 bucks ($8 for adults.) It includes the corn maze, boo barn, all types of things for kids to jump and play on and of course the obligatory hayride to the pumpkin patch. There are a couple other things that have a separate fee, but I don't mind that because there is SO MUCH to do without paying extra. Other farms (rhyming with Flax...Max...Wax) charge an entrance fee plus extra for everything you do. That puts me out a little.
They have a food "barn" with common farm fare. Nothing to write Yelp about (ha ha) but... Of course there's a lil' store that has fruit/veggies, baked goods, gifty-type things and the like. They sell just about every kind of jam, jelly, spread, honey you can image. Plus killer pies. We got a kitchen sink type that has apples and every berry they grow. It was scrumdiddlyumptious.
And my FAVORITE part...pumpkins galore! And these aren't your average pumpkins people; they have colors I've never seen before, blue and green and speckled and striped! So many to choose from!
