  • Lenny Boy was one of our stops on our beer tour of Charlotte and I am so glad we stopped in. The brewery is a little hard to find and a little small, but it is definitely worth the trip. All of their beer is organic and they seem to promote a healthy lifestyle with yoga classes in the brewery on Saturdays and a run club. They also specialize in Kombucha which I had never heard of before but it is a non-alcoholic fermented beverage that has tons of good stuff in it for your health. They also have Wild Ales which is Kombucha with alcohol. As we were there on a Saturday pre-gaming for the ACC Championship we skipped over the Kombucha and went for their beers which were really good. I started with Herb's Pale Ale and thought it was pretty good and then tried a few of their sours which were all excellent. It is really cool that Charlotte has so many microbreweries and Lenny Boy is definitely one of the better ones. I'd highly recommend checking them out and can't wait to go back myself.
