  • I went to this Ulta location on Durango yesterday for a Bare Minerals travel palette. I told a sales associate that I was looking for a Bare Essentials Travel Palette and she just stared at me like I was speaking in an unknown dialect. She shook her head scoffingly and said, We have Bare Minerals..???" Oh! that's what I mean...[but I'm thinking..".there is a bare Essentials, Bare Minerals store, right?"} So I let her rudeness go and continued with her "assisting" me. I told her the palette has solid powdered makeup with a extra coverage, countour. highlight, and a small cream concealer that comes in a case with brushes. She led me to the Bare Minerals display that I had missed and off-handedly said, "Well, this is what we have." and walked away. I chose my shade, bought the kit and left. When I got home I found that it is not what I described, nor needed. it is loose powder and the associate should know her product line AND be willing to help the store's customer. There was no line at the checkout, hardly a customer in the store, and only one other customer who was there not for a purchase but for a return. Now I have to go back across the Valley to return this incorrect purchase and ask for the correct palette--which is....the solid makeup palette, "Ready" products, in the four make up plus cream concealer, in the "Complexion Perfection Palette." So much for depending on an actual human sales associate to help the customer rather than doing a google search for terminology they require of you, in exchange for your money!!!! I trained my employees much better than this!
