  • I have been going to polished for over two years, because of the nail tech who has done a good job. I have referred numerous friends to polished and the nail tech I see there. I spend hundreds of dollars there a month, and have made an extra 20 minute drive to go to this particular nail salon. So today was a sad day when I vowed to never return. Polished has a policy that if you have any issue with gel application within 7 days they will fix it. Well I got my nails done 8 days ago, and I travel for work. While out of town my nails began to lift. Two of them were completely torn off. I went in today to have them all redone as soon as I got back into town. Now do not misunderstand me, as I was not looking to have my nails redone for free. But when you have been a loyal customer and they refuse to even offer ten dollars off... it's insulting. I'm ONE day past their seven day policy. I am not someone coming in for the first time. I come ALL the time. They have a minimum of 15 clients because of me. I have no problem paying to have them done, but it is bad business not to reward loyal customers. The manager refused to even look at me when speaking, and looked down at the computer screen while speaking to me. He couldn't even offer me $5 off. HA. It was a joke. Bottom line I realized today that they do not care about me, nor do they have any clue how to run a business. They are a busy salon and deal with a large client base. Not all of their techs are good either, I just found one I was happy with. But one good nail tech is not worth the the feeling of just being a dollar sign to them. So because they couldn't do something as simple as offer $5 off (which I would have made up for in a tip anyways) they have lost a loyal costumer, and future business I would have sent their way. Sad. Go somewhere where they value you and your business.
