I'd like to begin by saying that I have no prior experience with any other meditation studios, although I have practiced meditation throughout my life.
With that said, I love this place! Honestly, there have been some rather trying personal things for the past few months and meditating at home simply wasn't cutting it for me. I wasn't able to attain the silence I was seeking. I decided to see what was available and Current Meditation happened to come up. It's up the street from work and they have classes throughout each day. Making it simple to find something that might fit my schedule. Lunch happens to be that time for me.
I've had the pleasure of being guided by a number of "instructors" (if that's what we call them) and I can say that each one has added their own personal vibe to their sessions. I like that there are different "classes" available depending on what you'd like your focus to be for that day. The aerial option is super cool too and don't worry, you won't fall.
I know that for myself personally, I require daily practice and this place is making it easier for me. Not to mention they also have workshops available and though I've only attended one, it was stellar. There's something about the space, about other individuals who are also working on their mindful efforts that really make it a special experience as opposed to doing on your own when you're having a hard time just being.
The crystal bowls and symphonic gong are also special.
I believe the first session is free if you just want to check it out and from there they offer membership options or drop ins. There's tea available a few items such as essential oils and tshirts.
I'd recommend checking it out to anyone both those experienced and unexperienced. The first step is simply to show up.
