Great atmosphere, great neighbourhood, dim lighting, really cool vintage stereo... only guys with cool beards working, so pretty standard hip restaurant I'd say. The service was a little slow, but understandable for a Friday night... but they were really nice about it, and friendly... non of the entitled hipster attitude, which is common now for Toronto restaurants.
I liked the vibe of this place and do want to return, however the food didn't impress me much, it was good... but just not good enough if you're paying their prices. The highlight of the dinner was the perfectly made sticky toffee pudding, delicious. The hen and the burger were just decent. I think I'd stick to the brunch menu here from now on...
