My three year old loves this play area. However I probably won't renew our membership. Here's why:
1. The new owner moved the baby play area to be flush with the wall, instead of in the middle. So, now it makes it almost impossible to keep eye on my 3YO while keeping my baby out of harms way
2.Which brings me to the next reason I wouldn't renew: too many kids! I confronted the owner when two out of my three kids were crying due to how loud it was because it was PACKED with people. He said that the fire code allows 68 people and he generously caps it at 60. 60?! Seriously! I'm sure the fire code said 68 taking into consideration the entire space. However, the cafeteria has been closed for weeks. Even so, that doesn't provide much more square footage. Additionally, it takes into account the party rooms. Only one of those is open to the public and it's designated for coloring. Kids just aren't interested in coming here to color. So, basically these 60 people are packed into what I estimate to be a 800 square foot area. Awful!
3. Little to no seating for parents. The seating that exist is awful.
4. Once my baby was sleeping in his stroller after HOURS of trying to get him to sleep and the owner made me take him out hence waking him up. Really?!
The only nice thing for us is it's location, super close. Next year well put this money towards a Children's Museum membership.
