  • After reading some of the other reviews, (Shren T, Shea J, Joseph J, Holly D, Richard S, and Tina E -SPECIFICALLY!!!) I am not very shocked at the BOTTOM OF THE BARREL customer service. With this being said, I'd like to write the owner. He/she may not care because of most of the five star ratings that they were given, but if I were him, I would especially be concerned about not only DISCRIMINATION (TOWARDS MILITARY AND PEOPLE OF OPPOSING POLITICAL OPINIONS...Oh, and CIGARETTE SMOKERS, too) but also about the good old fashioned crappy customer service BULLYING that the "supposed general manager, Rando" and his equally negative sidekick, (and barback only suppsedly) Justin dole out to clientele and PROSPECTIVE CLIENTELE. Dear Owner, I am writing to let you know about the terrible customer service that my friends and I had experinced. First of all, your establishment was not yet busy around 8:15 pm, I sat down, and was basically ignored by the bartender. From the small bar, I had to flag him down minutes later to let him know that someone new arrived (ME) and that I would like a beer. I gave him my card to start a tab, so we were on our way to a cool, laid back night. (NOT!) Secondly, my bestie arrived at the SMALL, NOT SO BUSY bar about 15 minutes later. Same thing happens to her. I have to flag down the bartender (later we found out that THIS is the person representing YOUR VIEWS AND ATTITUDE ABOUT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT, as he IS the front line bartender/ customer service support team aka geneal manager???!!!!!) for her first drink. Again, even though we were sitting at the bar, we had to flag him down for water and for my second drink (which would be my final beer). I tried to get Justin's attention while he was doin busy work of stocking - HE CLEARLY SAW ME AND CONTINUED TO IGNORE ME. This time I made sure to get his attention, along with Rando's. I let them know that customer service is not good. We were flat out getting IGNORED AND CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE BULLIED. Instead of an apology, they continued to make excuses and defended their UNACCEPTABLE COMBATIVE BEHAVIOR WITH CONTINUOUS ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR. While my bestie was trying to finish her full drink, the cops were called because they were kicking us out for expressing our want to have a beer in a small bar, by a not-so-busy "customer service team". To top things off, when I went to close my tab in this SMALL BAR, he didn't even remember my name after I had been buying drinks for different people to put on MY TAB- I was actually, clearly under charged, lol! 1.5 drinks each later for the three of us, we were permanently done with this place. We are three working professionals that happen to be foodies and the enjoyers of an occasional drink. WE ARE GOING TO POST THIS ON FB, TWITTER...screenshot and text/email to anyone we can. If you want shitty customer service come here! Justin is super rude and disrespectful. Rando is the poor excuse of a general manager. There are plenty of cool dive bars WITH EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF YOU WANT TO GET BULLIED LIKE MY FELLOW YELPERS THAT I'VE LISTED ABOVE HAD EXPERIENCED IN THE ***RECENT PAST***...AND FOR THE MANY MORE THAT I KNOW HAD SIMPLY WALKED AWAY HAD EXPERIENCED...THEN COME HERE. I will not tolerate bullying and abusive behavior. SHAME ON YOU JUSTIN, RANDO, and OWNER FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS A LONG TIME AGO WHEN THE FIRST DISCRIMINATORY YELP WAS POSTED in 2010 and 2013. UNBELIEVABLE THAT YOU'VE GOTTEN AWAY WITH MISTREATING FOLKS THIS LONG!!!!!! What you don't know may hurt you- meaning: you may not be aware- or care- about future business that would've been IF you cared in the least bit about proper customer service and basic manners. Sincerely, Never Coming Back
