  • I can let go that the building is old. I can let go that there is only one squat rack and not enough weightlifting equipment. I can even let go that every time you go into the locker room you feel like you're going to catch some kind of flesh eating bacteria. What i can forgive is senior management that openly treats their employees horribly which inevitably means that negativity is filtered down to members, particularly in the way they treat children. The Y in Dane county has become obsessed in its' focus on only one segment of the population and in doing so has ignored families and is missing a great opportunity in teaching a new generation to get fit and away from the TV and tablet. Until the Dane County YMCA program learns how to run a professional, not for profit business that truly cares about its' community and members I would suggest get your workout by running away from here....fast.
