  • I was in a little bit of a time crunch and ended up needing to buy my dress off the rack. I tried on dresses in several stores, but I wasn't falling in love with anything. I was also determined not to bust my budget on a dress off the rack, unfortunately, that didn't happen with the dress I found here. Although my dress was discounted 50% for being discontinued and off the rack, they also quoted me $450 for alterations. I was kind of surprised. I found another place to do my alterations and spent less than $300. I was also told by the woman that did my alterations that they should have charged me at least $200 less for the dress because it was missing a bunch of crystals in the belt and was filthy. (you don't really notice those things in the glow of finding a dress) Luckily it is now clean and fits. My experience was ok here for a bride in my situation, and they had a bunch of dresses, but it isn't a place I would recommend to someone first thing.
