  • Found a 2012 Certified Tiguan SEL here for my girlfriend, so we called to make sure they had it and then drove across town to check it out. We were still in the process of doing research and such, but when she got in this car she just fell in love and that was it. This almost turned into a nightmare because the sales guy we were dealing with at first was an asshole and a liar (turns out he was new) - he just happened to answer the phone when we initially called. The senior staff here were quick to see it wasn't working out, so they jumped in and were happy to replace our sales guy with someone else. After narrowly escaping having to flip tables over and walk out, we had a great experience with the replacement staff. They bent over backwards to make us happy and we ended up with a wonderful car at a great price. I've dealt with a lot of dealerships over the years and all kinds of salespeople. I can't say this was the best experience I've ever had, but they really went the extra mile to correct a bad first impression, so I think they earned a 4. Time will tell as we deal with service and warranty issues etc.., but so far I'm pretty confident they'll be able to at least keep this score (4/5) and possibly even earn that last star. Their finance guy was fantastic, and our replacement sales guy was fun. We are happy so far, and will probably recommend this place to others looking for a VW (even though we've also had good luck at Chapman).
