  • tl;dr friendly staff, gym is good for cardio, painful experience to do weights. To be clear before my review, yes this gym is fairly small in size. The outside of the building is deceiving that it will be a large gym. I went on a Saturday afternoon, and it was an ok amount of people. I would avoid this place like the plague during peak hours though if you want to actually work out (more on that later). The front desk staff was actually very friendly to me. I see some reviews here complaining about unfriendly staff, so I would like to report the opposite. Honestly, from what I saw while I was there, I wouldn't be surprised if it was people just asking stupid questions. Out of all the goodlifes I've been to, surprisingly, the staff here have been the most inviting with me. The gym layout: First floor is your cardio section, with your 20 min express workout stations with machines. There's also 2 public use power racks, and 2 personal training racks. This area is decently ventilated and they used the space fairly well to fit everything. Second floor is where all the weights are, which I am surprised they did not put on the first floor since weights sometimes get dropped. Second floor has no fans and the air felt really stuffy and stale - this is during the winter. I would die if it was summer and the AC wasn't running. Now for the workout experience. There's maybe 2% of the people who actually lift properly. On the bright side, there's never a dull moment, because the whole time you are there you will be looking at people with the Nick Cannon meme expression. People will do things that question your faith in humanity. The gym is already fairly small, so the use of machines properly is important. You've got girls doing hip thrusts on the bench press because glute activation is life, guys doing dumbbell curls on the bench press because curls for the girls (amirite), and guys doing shrugs on the leg extension (y tho). If you lift with any kind of capacity, people will stare at you. If I am in this area and NEED a workout, I would come again during off hours. But if I am in a bad mood or my patience is already thin, it would be a no from me.
