  • I normally would give Cupcakery at this location a 5 star rating because I love their cupcakes. They do everything perfect. Easily the best cupcakes I've ever had, from their cool box to the flavors and oh yeah who can deny how awesome they look. Every single one of these sweet tasty little treats all just looks so scrumptious and they are but during the holidays boy oh boy are they decorated all so nice. I mean they look too good to eat some times. So why am I giving them a 2 star rating you might ask. It's because Valentine last year (and I wish I still have the picture) I spent 2 weeks prior to schedule a box of cute Vday cupcakes to be sent to my valentines at work so she can get something different and way better then a normal box of chocolates. I drove across town instead of phoning an order in so nothing can go wrong I paid extra not only because I was ordering special Vday decorated cupcakes but because they had to deliver all the way to Summerlin where she works and in the end and about $80 bucks worth of cupcakes and all the time and effort that went in to preparing, they failed miserably. When my wife received them I get a phone call from her thanking me for them and she sounded less then thrilled. I asked her to send me a picture because I was wondering why is she not excited about them as much as I was and when I saw the pix I knew why. I was so pissed off man did they really ripped me off this time. All she got was one cupcake with a heart that said be mine and the rest of the cupcakes had lame ass sprinkles on them....yes that's it no love letter envelope no bow and arrow no bouquet of flowers no lips nothing just LAME ass sprinkles!!! If I wanted that I could've gone to Smiths and paid $6 bucks instead of $80. They were suppose to be an assortment of awesomely decorated cupcakes and someone decided to go half ass on these and thought I wasn't going to care. I wish I had called to chew someone out at the time but I didn't and now after being a long time fan I choose to go else where when wanting to order cupcakes after that experience. I thought they were a better establishment then that. Now I tell everyone my horror story instead of raving about them and I do wish this doesn't happen to anyone else. If you do decide to order Vday or any holiday cupcakes make sure they know you are expecting what they advertise and promise so you won't be as disappoint as I was! Ugh SMH just thinking about it again.
