  • This is one of the best bakeries with regard to birthday cakes. If you're looking for something better than the now-ubiquitous Costco or Giant Eagle birthday cakes, this is the best bet on the west side. Their frosting is excellent (and good frosting is something that seems to be an issue around these parts) and the cake is very good too. Just a wee bit better than Elmwood (also in Lakewood).
