  • Yes, I am a fan of A&D Barber Shop. It is a classy, sophisticated place but it isn't pretentious. The barbers don't act like they're doing you a favor, and they do take the time to learn what kind of haircut you want. My only two criticisms are (1) without the ability to make an appointment, you do find yourself facing a long wait at times (as someone else said), and (2) due to religious reasons--they are Orthodox Jews-- A&D is NOT open on Saturdays. I would go there all the time, because I like them better than I like V's, but Saturday is my day to get all the stuff done that I don't have time for during the week, and it is a real pain not to be able to get a haircut on Saturdays.
