  • We had a great experience at Rare start to finish. Andy and Luke were friendly, attentive, funny, and yet non-intrusive. Tuna poke app was fresh and light. Tableside prepared Caesar was fresh and delicious with a deep rich flavor in the dressing. Steaks were some of the best I've ever had, definitely best in Madison. 10oz filet and husbands Kansas City strip were perfectly cooked with a nice crust and seasoning. Bearnaise and mushroom accompaniments were worth it. Hash browns and Brussels sprouts with nueskes bacon were to die for! Finally, the bananas foster prepared at your table was phenomenal. A wonderful place to celebrate anything! $$$$ but worth every penny.
