After watching Tom on Top Chef for so many years I was excited to try his steakhouse at the mgm. The decor is clean with masculine steakhouse touches. Tons of male eye candy having a boys meal together. The guys next to our table were hilarious and entertaining. I had the bone in new York med rare. Sides were the corn and potato puree. Steak was delicious, perfectly seasoned with a slight crust at the edges. The potato puree were so creamy and silky. The corn was a little savory, a little sweet and added some great texture to the whole meal. The buttered rolls they bring at the beginning are addicting but so self control is key. Great crowd and great service. It turns out that many vegas restaurants recycle their food waste for farms, that was an interesting fact that our server gave us. They were able to fit us in with a last unite reservation at 930. Remember to show your mlife card for points.
