  • My husband and I are looking for a gym with personal training and though we had issues with this company years ago when we were members, stopped in on Saturday to look into pricing. The guy Joel who talked to us a little seemed very new. He knew nothing about the personal training and asked we come back Monday at 4 to speak to Josten. We gave our info and made the appt. Today we go in at 4 and Joel says Josten is off today. Seriously?? And no one could call us? He had no response but said someone from another club will get on speaker phone to discuss pricing. We sat and waited as Joel IM'd this guy. After 5 minutes or so he said sorry, the guy isn't available. I was so irritated that my time was just wasted. I told him this club has awful reviews and he just said "yup!" like he was totally ok and proud of it. I told him after wasting our time we will not be using LA Fitness. He was ok with it and as we left my husband gave him advise to call people who have appointments if the person they are with are out. It never dawned on him to do that. Good luck with this place. We did talk to a trainer Chuck for 2 minutes who seemed nice but still no way am I paying these people.
